Biz Tools That I’m Using In 2021

I would not have been able to hit the 6 figure mark without some of the softwares and tools. I’ve been able to increase my income, create passive income, stay organized, and become more efficient in my business due to investing in these tools and softwares. I’ve been using a few of these softwares for years and it doesn’t look like I’ll be going anywhere any time soon. Take a below to see what I’m using to operate and grow my business.

  1. Zoom: I am using currently using the paid version of Zoom because it allows me to host virtual consultations and live webinars without a limited time frame. I love Zoom because it allows me to record my sessions and save them to either send back to my clients or upload to my website for replays. Zoom has definitely been a great software with me having to pivot from teaching in-person classes to virtual learning.

  2. Convert Kit: Is a email marketing platform that I recently started using. I’ve used Mailchimp and MailerLite in the past but I recently switched over to Convert Kit. I think Convert Kit fits more of my needs as a content creator, coach, and strategist. Setting up segments and email sequences is a lot easier compared to the other two platforms. MailerLite and MailChimp are still great platforms but Convert Kit allows me to streamline my email marketing sequences. I’m expecting my email marketing profits to be a lot more profitable than previous years.

  3. 17 Hats: I would not have been able to hit 6 figures without this client management system. I’ve even had other businesses compliment me on the customer experience. 17 Hats is a software designed to help business get organized. I can keep track of calendar, my leads, client conversations, invoices, and taxes all in one place. Becoming more organized in my systems and increasing my efficiency helped me to increase my profits because the level chaos decreased drastically. 17 Hats was the game changer for me and business.

  4. Trello: Talk about organization! Shessh! Trello allows me to map out my task and projects with my team. I love the layout because it allows me to see what we need to do, the progression, and what’s been accomplished.

  5. Planoly: is a scheduling app for both Instagram and Pinterest. It will allow you to upload your content, write out caption, and attache hashtags. One feature I really like and appreciate is that I can upload the images and view the layout before it post on the feed. We all know that Instagram is a very visual so Planoly allows users to be able to curate their feed.

  6. Teachable: The year 2020 was my first year offering online courses. The pandemic made 2020 the official year of the pivot. I normally taught in person workshops but due to COVID-19 I was forced to pivot and Teachable allowed me to do it with grace. Teachable is an online platform that will allow you to create and sell your course online. The Biz Academy currently has 3 self paced courses available, CLICK HERE to learn more.

  7. Canva: Even though I can create visuals in Photoshop, Canva just makes my life so much easier as a content creator. I can create social media post, flyers, ebooks, post cards, in just minutes. Canva is a design tool that allows you to DIY the visuals you need for your business. So if you’re on a graphic design budget, struggle with creating eye catching designs, or just want something quick and easy, Canva is perfect for you. I’ve been using the paid version of Canva for about 3 years now and it helps me keep all of my logos, fonts, and color codes in one place. The brand kit feature is my absolute favorite.

There are so many different softwares but these are the ones I am currently using.  You have to find the software that you like and works for your business.  However, I do encourage you to look into these softwares if you’re not sure on where to start.  Let me know in the comments below if you’re using any of these softwares or if you plan to try them out.
